Romantic Connecticut Wedding Inspiration

On an early spring day a group of Connecticut wedding vendors worked their magic to create some romantic wedding inspiration. Nestled in northern Connecticut, Merlot on the Water, provided the perfect location. Complete with water views and charming New England décor, it’s a very welcoming wedding venue.

Our brides styled classic princess style ballgowns. Deana wore a gown from designer Olia Zavozina with floral details making it so feminine and the perfect choice for a romantic wedding.

Her curls swept up on one side and the Samantha earrings draw attention to her face and put all eyes on her bright smile. The Alyce bracelet, with two shimmering strands of pearls completes this timeless bridal look.

The wedding color palette with shades of purple kept things romantic, yet on trend with ultra violet being Pantone’s color of the year for 2018.

Hoop bouquets created by AmberWorks Floral Design have a relaxed, rustic style. With succulents accenting the flower medley it’s a refreshing, updated alternative to a traditional bouquet. The bridal bouquet full of greenery and an emerging bridal trend – lots of texture!

Our bridesmaid was adorned in linear white drop earrings drawing attention to her face and single shoulder gown. The Kaileigh bracelet brings some fun texture to the wrist.

Another bridal look, styled by Maddie was a classic sweetheart neckline gown with a loose updo off to one side. The Gwendolyn necklace, a cluster pendant similar to the cascading bridal bouquet is the perfect finishing touch with an open neckline.

Paired with the Elizabeth earrings, a classic pair of cubic zirconia stud and freshwater pearl earrings, complete her bridal style with jewelry she can wear again.

A naked cake with minimal frosting has an informal look but the fresh blossoms make it deliciously feminine.

Noteworthy Chocolates add something sweet to the day. Laser engraved chocolates, in three varieties of chocolate create a beautiful display for table assignments and are a tasty favor for guests too! They’re also a great bridal shower favor idea. I recommend the milk chocolate – I may have eaten one on the ride home.

It was a treat to work along with some talented Connecticut wedding vendors to create this romantic wedding inspiration. Adding jewelry from the White Bouquet collection created the perfect finishing touches to these timeless bridal styles.
